Ms. Shumener is one of the founding partners of Shumener, Odson & Oh LLP. For over 27 years, Ms. Shumener has dedicated herself to providing the highest level of quality of legal services for her clients.
Practice
Ms. Shumener represents some of nation’s elite private equity firms, opportunity funds and financial institutions. As a commercial litigator, Ms. Shumener has protected several billion dollars of real estate and corporate assets of equity and debt investors starting with the Savings and Loan crisis of the late 80s and evolving into the opportunity funds and investment banking firms.
Ms. Shumener represents a number of the funds sponsored by the major New York investment banking firms, opportunity funds headquartered on the West Coast and the more traditional financial institutions in the United States and abroad. She has been named a Southern California Super Lawyer as the result of research projects conducted jointly by Law & Politics and Los Angeles magazines.
