Mr. Doupé is an associate at Shumener, Odson & Oh LLP.
Mr. Doupé has represented clients in several areas of commercial and real estate litigation, including lender liability disputes, foreclosures, receiverships, post-judgment enforcement, contract disputes, and lease disputes. His experience includes formulating trial and appellate strategy, drafting legal briefs, preparing dispositive motions, and developing pre-trial and post-judgment discovery. Mr. Doupé has also appeared before courts throughout the state, including the California Court of Appeal.
Before joining Shumener, Odson& Oh LLP, Mr. Doupé was a litigation associate at DLA Piper LLP (US) and was an extern to the Honorable Terry J. Hatter, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Mr. Doupé received his J.D. degree cum laude from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and his B.A. degree magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Rhodes College. During law school, he served as lead articles editor for the SMU Law Review and chairman of the Board of Advocates. Mr. Doupé also participated actively in national moot court competitions, earning best oral advocate honors at the Pepperdine National Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition and placing as a finalist at the Moot Court National Championship.
